Jobs at University (within Academic Environment)
Student Administrative-Officer
The best student job I've had ! I worked for 1 year in the Internship-department office at my University and really, there were nothing but advantages. Despite the repetitive tasks (archiving, email handling, paper mail...etc), the mission was really chill. My work-hours were adapted to my study-hours, I worked about 10 hours a week (sometimes more, if I asked). In order oo apply, contact your University or school.
Benefits: chill, you can study at the same time, flexible hours, short commute. Disadvantage: none ! (really). Pay: Minimum wage.
Student Librarian-Officer
Same as Student Administrative-officer. Administrative tasks too, but specific to library work. Main activities: managing book lendings/returns, archiving, emailing, tidying up, occasionally acting as book watchman*huuuush!* here and there…etc). I didn't apply to this job, but a friend of mine did it. Once again, very chill option. In order to apply, go to directly to your University library and let them know that you are a student here.
Benefits: quiet, you can study at the same time, flexible hours, short commute. Disadvantage: none. Pay: Minimum wage.

Where to apply? A few websites + bonus
So I did my little benchmark on tiktok (yes, indeed! information is everywhere if you are on the lookout) to identify websites recruiting regularly, and here are the names that came up frequently in comments sections. For event hostesses/hosts jobs: WorkTribe (applications to be sent by email), Colloquium (create your profile on the website), Itiremia (Samsic group: create your profile) and Impact Sales&Marketing. For short-term mission/interim jobs of all sort: Hellowork, Indeed, Manpower : If you do a search by typing « student”, many offers are showcased (lighter weekly-working hours, or offer exclusively on weekends and compatible with your studies). Finally, if you'd like to test your English skills and/or practice for the TOEIC exam: estudyme.com ! (as see on tiktok *wink*).
